Traxxas Wild West PedFest *Blue Odyssey* Build

I will be documenting my build up of the blue odyssey ped that I will be using at the wild west ped fest this may! I will be using a good portion of parts I already have, mixed in with some new parts i recently purchase for the build.

First, I had my MD 40 frame sand blasted along with the fork and 460 fan shroud. I had the framed capped at the end, as well as finish up all of the welds that are inconsistant from the factory, smoothed and finished, and cut off the kick stand tab. Here's what that looks like so far:

The parts are currently at the powder coaters getting a nice coat of super chrome and blue odyssey with metalic flake over top.

Little peek as to what will be going on this build: Simple black race pole and skyway lock grips, Blue DOH cables all around, Skopod quick change in the rear, and mtb adapters front and rear, blue anodized ada billet wheels. Avid bb7's FTW!

Thanks. Ya i've thought of hydro's but avid mechanicals and more than enough, I don't want to go over the bars in a panic situation.

Exhibit A clearly shows you are not as OCD as you think you are.

It's a sprocket.... there's no point in cleaning a ddm sprocket. As long as the teeth are good, it's fine.
