Love it - now we're having fun!

How long did it take to cut that with a ball end mill? Now show me some skills and deburr it with the same tool.

I don't have a time on it, but I'm using a 1/4" ball mill turning 12,000rpm and feeding at 200ipm w/.015" stepover. It goes pretty quick.

Got the deburring done with a 1/4" 45 6 flute carbide chamfer tool.

I'm using CamWorks within SolidWorks. I've done some 3-axis programming, but I'm not proficient enough in it yet. I spend a lot of time trying different options to see what they do. I was actually on the phone with the local CamWorks rep on Friday and he really helped out a lot. What CAD/CAM software do you use?

Nice! I'm using Surfcam 3 Axis Plus with SolidWorks. Both together are 100% associative. I've been a Beta user of Surfcam 3D since the days of DOS. Which means I'm dating myself a little.
