    Have been busy lately...

    Some new updates.

    ADA Handlebars arrived.

Used the Darksoul chainbraker for the first time (Worth every penny).

Installed a new chain. (Amazing how much 98 vs 96 chain differs. Removing 2 links made a HUGE difference, ultra smooth ride now.)

Still need to order the ADA HK + Porting + Reed + Fan Cover + Cable Clamps.

    Getting closer.

For some reason those ADA bars look wider than normal. Did you put any king of extenders on them?

Hmm.. No extensions or anything on them, just stock as DDM sent them.

Might be the grey grips and the grey wall paint making things seem out of scale. No idea bud.

    The results are in:

And so is that mysterious desire for going even faster.

42mph. Flat paved road, absolutely no degree of down slope.

Now aiming for 45-50mph and it's going to get expensive, lol.

    .....

    No new parts lately...

Just wanted to get a feel for how it is right now, and verify the top speed.

Slowly going to keep building this out more and more. Stay tuned.

It's not "legal" to ride in my state on the street without registering/etc. (Never had an issue riding without it though.)

However, it's pretty easy to do.... No inspections or title needed, etc. Being under 50cc makes things less painful, just have to pay that "DMV tax".

I could prob get by with just the plate, a pay off any tickets from cops for no lights, etc, no big deal... Or even skip that and just ride.

But I care about MY safety so I'm doing the lights anyways.

Plus I've never seen this done on a Goped before, and I just had to attempt it!

    Just ordered this:

All wireless and the button remote is perfect for what I need.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ag=nexlux0f-20

    (Not my pictures)

    ....

Mounting lights under the rear fender. Want it to look seamless, so browsing for some motorcycle light housing to modify this thing.

For a base kit with the wireless/lights/etc done, this saves me a TON of work.

Plate will go on the right side by the engine mount. It's 4.5" long in my state so it fits perfect with maybe less than 0.5" of overhang.

    The general idea:

    But with better way housing:

Awful mockup but you get the idea, lol Put in a basic taillight to give everyone a better idea.

    ......

That's it for now. If this works I'm considering buying a second one, modding it for the inside handlebar turn signals.

More power is on the way...

    Toymaker plate just arrived!

Going to build out a full 460 with HK, Reed, etc.

Then start adding a HK, reed, etc to the 40 motor.

    Eventually might own 2 peds.

U should just sell off the 40 motor and build a 60. Once u spin that many rpms on a 460 your gonna eat the plating and have an unreliable ped.

I think a reeded 460 will outlast any 60 on long rides.

Haha dam thats crazy. W.e. The 460 clutch is holding up fine and i bought a spare cause i know its gonna get shredded soon. But that motor mount you gave me actually worked pretty surprised about that so i might be in the clear. The whole clutch sits all the way in the bell.
