Started to mock up the 54mm billet mount. Tried to polish it up as much as I could. It has a proline bell, and it currently has an 8 tooth sprocket.

The powdercoating was a little thick, so I sanded it off of the inner mount. It was not sitting as flush as I wanted it.

Here it is all mounted up. I had an HD mount that I purchased a while back that I put on. It is so beefy!

I then started working on the brakes. I added the inch black anodized spacers from www.aluminumspacers.com but it was not enough. I found out that the posts that came with the ADA wheels for the sprockets were actually shorter than the ones I purchased when they first came out. I purchased this wheel a few months after they were introduced. I ended up having to add a few washers to get this to work with the disc brakes. I also needed to add longer stainless M6 screws. I went with 35mm screws. The tolerances in this disc brake setup are VERY tight for me. It almost looks like it will rub, but it has enough clearance. I ended up getting it all mounted and working. I added the Avid BB7 Caliper which matched very well.

Looks very close now! I don’t have better pics of the throttle and brake cable, but I also added the braided carbon cables. DDM had the set on sale for $10, couldn’t pass on that. They look awesome on the quad.

Thanks to Igotpurple, I got a brand new Pacsales quad pipe sent to me. I immediately mounted the engine and started to mess around with the fitment of the pipe. Used a billet RC manifold, and it slid right in. I may add an additional mounting point in the future, but it is pretty sturdy at the moment.

As it sits at the moment. I am working on getting the seat mounted very soon.

It has come a long way from this poor little quad.

Turned out very cool. I really like the textured look of the paint. It goes nicely with the annodized billet.

So during the last track day, the quad performed extremely well. I am hitting 41mph, at 16k RPM's. What I soon realized was that my traction sucked! So I have made a some modifications to the wheels

Nice! Good to hear that traction on a single tire has some problems. I'll be going the dually route as well. They look mean too! I have a set of those fronts as well...they look sweet!
